A Journey of Holistic Learning
Shubham Karoti Gurukula is a charitable residential school for girls spread across 12 acres, it aims to restore our Indian culture and ethos “Swastha Susamskruta Samajada Nirmana” as the founders call it. The name Shubham Karoti itself means ‘Do Good Deeds’ in Sanskrit. Spoken language is ‘Sanskrit’, medium of instruction is ‘Kannada’ and children are taught numerous activities to develop their all-around personality.
On the auspicious day of “Vyasa Poornima”, 22nd July year 1994 the opening of the Gurukula was inaugurated by the Poojya Swamijee Sri Sri Sri Vishveshwara Teerta of Pejawar Math, Udupi and by Sri Ramdas M Kamat. It is located in Ramohalli (near Kengeri), Bengaluru.
It is about 25 km from the city center and close to the famous Big Banyan Tree.
